Andreas Persson

Postdoctoral Researcher

Since 2012, I have been a Ph.D. at Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS), Örebro Univeristy, where I am working on the topic of using large-scale resources for improving perceptual anchoring.

I am currently a member of the Machine Perception & Interaction (MPI) Lab at AASS, and I am employed through a CHIST-ERA coordinated European project titled ReGround. My contribution to the project is the investigation of how anchored objects can support both the learning of object actions as well as object affordances.

My research interests include, besides perceptual anchoring: knowledge representation, human-robot interaction, machine learning, and computer vision.
