I am a WASP assistant professor (biträdande universitetslektor) at the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) , Örebro University, from where I also received my Ph.D. in 2015, with a research topic in semantic perception.

My research interests include knowledge representation and reasoning, machine learning, and the integration of both. In particular, I am interested in the development of neuro-symbolic (NeSy) models and the extension of their applications in robotics and sensory systems.

I teach the Data structures and algorithms course in the Högskoleingenjör Computer Engineering Program, the Artificial Intelligence for the Web course in the Civilingenjörprogram, and the Answer Set Programming course in the SMART(er) program for working professionals. I have also been involved in other courses: together with Franzisca Klügl, the SMART(er) course Introduction to Artificial Intelligence , and both the basic and advanced courses in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) .
