IJCAI 2020 – Demo Paper Accepted

Andreas Persson together with Pedro Zuidberg Dos Martires (KU Leuven) received an acceptance to the very competitive demo paper track at this year’s IJCAI. The other authors of the paper include ORU’s own guest professor, Luc de Raedt and Professor Amy Loutfi. The paper titled: ProbAnch: a Modular Probabilistic Anchoring Framework illustrates the results of a collaborative work showing how a neuro-symbolic framework can learn about perceptual persistency of objects when occlusions and/or lack of data is present. Their work contributes to the semantic perception and neuro-symbolic systems research lines in the lab.
